THE BOOTFITTING PROCESS
INITIAL ASSESSMENT
We make a detailed assessment of the foot and lower leg, and establish individual expectations and requirements.
SHELL FIT
Based on the initial assessment, we select boots that offer the best fit and performance level, ensuring adequate shell spaces.
FOOT BED
We believe the foundation of a good boot fit begins with a footbed. We make custom footbeds, modified to the needs of the individual, to ensure stability and comfort.
Footbeds will improve performance by promoting positive transfer of movements from athlete to ski, and encourage a more neutral and stable foot position.
SHELL MODIFICATIONS
Once the footbed has been interfaced to the boot and liner, we assess whether the shell needs to be modified. We have a number of tools allowing us to work with specific areas of the boot to ensure the highest quality fit.
